🎗️Alea Ramsey had a passion to serve and support others after her own diagnosis of osteosarcoma in 2018.
Alea was a child with cancer, but she was compassionate, selfless, innovative, inclusive, and throughout her six years of treatments she witnessed the trauma experienced by Childhood Cancer.
Alea experienced how quickly her life changed

Alea was a sixth grader one day, Alea wanted to BEAR HOPE for all kids like her through AWARENESS ADVOCACY ASSISTANCE & AYA.
Alea witnessed the need for bearing hope to give kids hope and happiness one minute at a time.

Bearing Hope is a nonprofit (501C3 organization) based in Columbus, Ohio
- The mission of Bearing Hope is to provide support and advocacy to fighters and families with Childhood Cancer
- Bearing Hope currently provides care packages and resources to Childhood Cancer patients
- Bearing Hope continues. To grow and to support children throughout Ohio and beyond.
- Bearing Hope welcomes newly diagnosed patients by letting them know they are NOT alone & provides resources for additional support organizations.
- As treatment begins and continues Bearing Hope provides HOPE BAGS filled with a variety of age appropriate , games, activities, letters, books, stuffed animal, blankets, etc. to help bust the boredom of the hospital.
